Spiritual Education
The purpose of Spiritual Education is to fulfill the divine potential of individuals and to prepare them for life by giving them the tools they need to keep on learning throughout the many experiences that will come to them. The basis of this program will encompass Jeremiah 29:11 - "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and future." Upon completion of the Spiritual Education sector of the organization, individuals seeking assistance must memorize Jeremiah 29:11. This will be awarded as a satisfactory "Elevate" level.
Financial Education
Through the financial education sector of the organization, individuals are educated on how to obtain the resources they need in order to start their journey to financial peace. Individuals must complete a 4-hour program course "Financial Peace University". Upon completion, a certification will be awarded as a satisfactory "Elevate" level.
Career Education
Elevate HSV's partnership with the Alabama Career Center will encourage individuals seeking to obtain support in a desired career field by resume writing, application processing assistance, and interview preparation.
Counseling Education
Elevate HSV's Counseling sector, it will prepare individuals to professionally apply the theory and principles guidance and counseling for the personal, social, educational, and vocational development of others.
Leadership Education
Elevate HSV's Leadership Education sector will enlist and guide the talents and energies of individuals toward achieving common aims.
Eligible individuals are defined as low-income - moderate citizens that are looking for a hand up, rather than a hand out. These individuals include recovering addicts, that have been through and completed professional counseling, individuals that have lost employment and have proof of seeking new employment, senior citizens that are living on a fixed income and homeless veterans that are living on a fixed income, and homeless veterans that are trying to be reestablished.
